Repair of Tesla engines
One of our directions is the professional comprehensive restoration of Tesla electric motors. Our specialists have a lot of experience and have already restored more than 80 engines of various models, from almost any condition. By what signs can you identify an electric motor that needs repair?
The main indicator is an "electric" hum in the rear of the car, which gradually increases during acceleration.
Wet RPM sensor in the large rear electric motor (this type of electric motor is installed on RWD rear-wheel drive Teslas, or all-wheel drive versions AWD Performance / Ludicrous Mode).
The recovery complex includes:
Drying or replacement of the stator winding.
Spraying the neck, restoring the splines or replacing the rotor (depending on the degree of wear).
Replacement of gearbox / differential gears (if necessary).
Replacement of all bearings (metal and ceramic).
Replacement of shaft seals.
